For Anika and Kru's wedding on October 16, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, the photo booth was designed to look like a piece of the decor. We brought our Mochi Booth, our new modern luxury photo booth, and wrapped the entire booth in a bold black-and-white pattern for the night.

A full custom wrap

Instead of the booth's standard white finish, every panel was covered in the same bold black-and-white pattern: the front, both sides, the top and the base. With its built-in light bar and the two soft light columns on either side of the screen lit up, the booth read as a sculptural piece in a dark, moody room rather than equipment in a corner.

Next to the couple's photo set

The booth stood beside the couple's photo set: deep velvet drapes, burgundy pedestals with cascading purple roses and hydrangeas, glowing light columns, and an "AniKru" neon sign. Guests could pose at the set, then step up to the booth for printed strips, so the whole corner of the room became one photo moment.

On the screen and on the prints

Guests started on a "Select a Template" screen with several strip layouts to choose from, including Mr & Mrs designs for the couple's wedding. On the Mochi Booth, guests can then decorate their photos with digital stickers and drawing before the 2×6 strips print.

What "fully customized" means on the Mochi Booth

  • The booth itself: names or a date on the panels, or a full vinyl wrap like this one
  • The touchscreen: start and selection screens designed around your wedding
  • The prints: custom 2×6 strip or 4×6 layouts with your names and date
  • The fun part: digital stickers and drawing tools guests use before printing

You don't need a design plan. Send us your invitation, a mood board or a pattern you love, and we design the details and send proofs before the wedding. Our guide to the Mochi Booth explains how the purikura-style experience works.
