The short answer: we recommend booking a photo booth 2 to 4 weeks ahead, and earlier for Saturdays, holidays and peak wedding season, when dates fill first. Here is the full timeline from first inquiry to your gallery, so you know what happens when.

The booking timeline

  1. Inquiry. Tell us your date, venue, guest count and booth on our inquiry form. We reply with availability and an exact quote.
  2. Agreement and retainer. A signed agreement plus a 50% retainer confirms the booking and holds your date. Until then, the date is open to others.
  3. Design questions. Once you sign, we send a few questions about your print design and any add-ons, with your files due 7 days later if the event is more than 30 days out, 3 days if it is within 30, or 1 day if it is within 14.
  4. Design and proofs. We design your template from your colors, names, logo or invitation, and you approve it.
  5. Final details, about a week out. We confirm the timeline, booth spot, power and load-in with you or your venue.
  6. Balance. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
  7. Event day. We arrive early to set up, run the booth with an attendant and break down afterward.
  8. Gallery. Your online gallery arrives within 48 hours.
